I’ve been wondering about this. If one person says 'I love you' and the other responds with 'I love you too,' does it automatically mean they’re in a relationship? Or is it necessary to explicitly ask the other person to be their boyfriend or girlfriend? Is it usually assumed to be mutual understanding, or does it need an official conversation to confirm?

Could just be a spur of the moment thing like “holy shit dude I love you” after someone saved your life or something

Doesn’t make them dating

But if it’s a romantic or genuine setting where it’s all ab feelings n shit

And they say they love you

Then that’s a pretty clear sign they want to move on with your relationship whatever it maybe
