A good friend of mine betrayed me

2 days ago i saw my friend with my ex girl and when i confronted him he said that they are only friend but i saw them yesterday kissing in public.You know pa always used to say show me who your friends are and i can tell who you are maybe he was right.My other friends say that its not s big deal because we werent even in an official relationship and that it was just a situationship thst may be true but we werent even in together for a month and if i were in his place i wouldnt do it out of repsect.Do you think i should remove him from my life and never speak again ?Also the last 2 years he has been a little distant from me we dont hang out as often as we used to because he is going out with some other guys and he doesnt invite me

Your friend doesn't care about you at all it seems
I would recommend remove such a toxic friend as he has already lied to you and still sees her
Of course is your choice at the end and you should do what you feel is right
