Man, sadly i don't have a gf too but if i would try to ask someone out, i think i would try to aproach quietly and be kind to her, maybe help her to get something done, idk.

After some time, try to give her a gift or something, then when asking her out, first make sure ur are all alone, so you don't embarass her in front of anyone, then kindly say that you have strong feelings for her.

As i said, i don't have a gf but this is my best guess on how to find someone i would love.
