That's tough, nothing that can be said about that really, if he is ignoring you than bring that to his attention, instead of asking him why? Since you already have, tell him how you feel and try to garner a response. Keep in mind anything could be happening aswell, broken phone, busy at times, simply needing time to himself. Still your feelings are valid and you can tell him your feelings without being "clingy, obsessive, crazy etc."
Do the both of you consistently talk a lot from before?
And how long has this been happening?

What if I just send him, "are you ghosting me?" And leave it at that?
If that's how you feel go for it
Or maybe give him a little explanation why you think he's ghosting you, or how his actions make you feel
