but mascara can go a long way

#

get an eyelash curler and mascara

#

and when your ready for more go for concealer and blush

#

i dont use foundation much

#

mainly just concealer on the parts where by face look bad (under eyes, beside nostrils, chin)

#

then i put 3 dots of blush on my cheekbone

#

and thats it

#

i use contour too sometimes on my jawline and cheekbone

Okay first off

#

It all depends on your features, if you have really sort of sharp, angular features that pop- go for natural makeup look/natural glam or a “no makeup makeup look”. If you have soft features that kind of blend in together- then bolder glam would suit you and more so heavy/birthday makeup

#

If you want your makeup to be fire, you NEED your skincare to be fire also

#

Simple thing to start off with; find out your skin type. Get a gentle face cleanser, wash your face with it and pat it dry. Leave it like that and dont add anything for 25-30 mins. After that check it- feel around etc. If it feels tight or theres flaking - u have dry skin. If it feels oily everywhere u have oily skin. If it feels oily around ur nose and forehead area (this is called the T zone) but your cheeks feel dry/normal then u have combination skin. If you feel nothing/none of these u have “normal” skin.

Basic makeup products u need: eyelash curler, concealer, mascara, VASELINE, anything for ur lips preferably lipgloss & blush. The brand essence is really good and cheap

#

Also get a pencil eyeliner if you want to. Has to be pencil if ur a beginner & also i forgot to mention also get an eyebrow pencil (if u have thin eyebrows) , if u have thick eyebrows get an eyebrow gel just to hold them in place all day

#

Hair is a totally different thing and has SO much info

#

But i say start with finding out your hair type - straight, wavy or curly. Then your hair thickness - thin, normal, thick. Then your hair porosity - low, high, normal. How to test for hair porosity: get a cup of room temp water, take a strand of ur hair put it in the cup and let it sit in the water dont push it down just let it float. Leave it there and wait 5-10 mins, if u come back and the strand is still floating - u have low porosity hair (ur hair has trouble keeping moisture/product locked in) if it sinks slowly yet stays in the middle of the cup - ur hair porosity is normal (this is the ideal type and what everyone aims for) If ur strand is sunk all the way to the bottom of the cup - u have high porosity hair (moisture absorbs very quickly into ur hair) therefore u will need heavier products
