It’s winter break right now and I haven’t been seeing my best friend very often. It’s been a week since we last seen each other and she wants to hang out one last time tomorrow before school starts. Idk why, but I don’t really want to hang out with her tomorrow. I feel like I need a break from her but idk if that’s what I need bc when I’m with her I’m happy. She’s a really needy person and wants to hang out all the time…while I don’t necessarily feel the need to hang out all the time. I’m neutral about it when she wants to hang out and I typically say yes, but recently I’ve been feeling like spending time away from her and more time with my family. Though, I’m scared that if I don’t spend time with her, she’s gonna drop me as a friend and not talk to me anymore because apparently she’ll think she’s not “important” in my life, which is wrong. Idk what to do…I really don’t want to lose our friendship over this

Yea…the first time she asked I was kinda making excuses like “oh we actually may be going to my grandparents for lunch”…it wasn’t entirely a lie but not very likely gonna happen on the day she wanted to come over and her response got very dry all of a sudden and we didn’t talk for a couple days before I brought up something to her to start a convo

Yea I was thinking of doing that…but I’m afraid she’s gonna have some grudge against me like I’m purposely ignoring her, which is kinda true 😭
