I have many scars on my arm and i want to dress nice meaning i can't wear any of my hoodies and i can't find another way to cover my scars and i am very insecure about them. so do people really care? do they look and stare? what thoughts run through their head?

Hi! I have many scars on my arms too (not from ||sh|| but from an accident), not many people will blatantly stare, but do expect ppl to ask questions if u guys r friends or not total strangers. Some ppl do assume it’s from ||sh|| tho & they’ll ask out of concern

To answer your journal title question, the people who do care about scars are not the right people for you. Somebody who cares about you will not see you as any less or different than how you are because you have scars. You don’t have to feel bad about covering them

We can’t worry about what everyone thinks of us because not everyone is important. If people stare, then let them.

People don't care

They will judge but it doesn't matter

I have scars all over my body( due to medical issues) i am always insecure about them and always wear full sleeve clothing. But as I grew, I just saw them as a reminder to tell me how much I suffered in the past and at one point it was the only thing that kept me going, reminding myself I'm strong. So don't feel bad about having those scars. Those scars are unique and beautiful. People have no right to judge you or pity you. Even if they do, they just don't realise how strong you are. But I think nowadays people don't really care. They have their thing to care abt .
Take care 🫂
