I'm done with my strict parents, they won't let me talk to my friends in any digital way, only face to face cause apparently it's really dangerous as it can make me "autistic" and "depressed", can't use my phone for more than 1 hour, no video games, only studying and sleeping and all of those rules even apply on holidays fucking holidays, it's gotten so bad that there's just no reasoning with them, the other day my dad was talking to me about how dangerous chatting on the internet is, and all I said was "well why?", then he just goes into panic mode with all sirens on and just straight up freaks the fuck out on me, I can't take it anymore I'm having suicidal thoughts I just can't take it any fucking more I need help..

I don't have any similar experiences to share, but the best advice I can give you is try to separate yourself from them for at least a little. Contact a side relative like your Aunt or Uncle.

If your parents do not allow that, try and reason with them. Try your best to let them know how you feel and tell them you need a little break from them. If they do not cooperate, try to have a side relative talk some sense into them. It's okay to be a strict parent, but overly limiting your child is arbitrary. Similarly to what you shared in this space, let your Aunt or someone else exactly know what your parents are doing and how much limitations they have you on you? The unrealistic expectations. The distress they put on you.

Try and make it fair with your parents, a reasonable amount of time for space is at least one day.

I bet your a gifted person with astonishing potential, don't give up. Sometimes I have suicidal thoughts about issues of my own. But I never do it, because I know I have a future a head of me. Do you really wanna waste your one life because of strict parents?

I understand that your young and your supposed to listen to your mom and dad who have more control over you. But remember this, you have your rights, your boundaries, your voice can all be heard. Does not mean to not listen to your parents.

you think you have strict parents. my parents dont let me go to school anymore. i have to homeschool with their shitty christian and slanted curriculum because they think my friends from school will turn me into a bad person. they dont let me have my phone or any devices until after 3:30 and before 5:00. i have to do chores before getting my devices also, and go to bed at 9:30. I have to get up early even tho im literally homeschooled...
