Hey so Ima try to explain thsi as best as I can. Im a artist or aspiring to be one and I’ve been drawing for about a year now and I have other friends who are yknow better at art than me which is fine. But most of them say how I practice to much and draw using too much references or somethin while other say it’s fine and one of em said to me on how “its just frustrating that you dont want to just try things or be confident or tell me no. it feels like you just want me to make every choice for you so now my decision”. And how I need to have a change in mindset. Another one said there’s like a invisible wall limiting my creativity or somethin and same thing taht I need to have a change of mindset. So idk I need help if anyone wants to talk about it. Also a lack in confidence or something. Idk it’s cause I’m autistic but one of my art friends did bring that up in the convo. Anyways just wanted to share it thx. If you could help it’ll be nice with suggestions cause I really don’t know how to change my mindset. It can’t be as easy as they make it out to be

If you have any questions I’d be willing to answer just ping me

slowly change your mindset along the way

#

research of autism is very mixed regarding creativity, but if you can draw and write. that pretty much automatically means that u arent intellectually impared and severe on the spectrum

#

so i wouldnt judge based on autism that much

#

+it just might be a self limiting belief

#

its good to have a fixed basis tho, so get to learn the theorticall approaches to drawing

#

if you have that set, u can draw most objects in detail
