So whenever I get a really intense negative emotion like fear, anger or sadness, sometimes it'll peak and then completely disappear, completely replacing itself with numbness (or sometimes off the wall, childish happiness). Any explanations for this ??

mood swings like this show symptoms of being bipolar. If you have an interest in gaining control over these mood swings I would suggest talking to your doctor to see what meds you could get prescribed after taking a few tests to see if you are actually bipolar
