My birthday is in 4 days. I wanted to celebrate with my friends but they're acting kind of weird I guess? So the week prior (May 13) my friend had a birthday party and we went to a Korean bbq. Her mother paid for everything as she's pretty well off even though the meal was 400. Almost all my friends went, about 12 or us there including some of her family members. I told my friends that I wanted to go to a sushi restaurant and picked the cheapest one I could find. When I mentioned it to them they asked "who's paying?" And I was like "it's 6 dollars can't you pay for yourself?". I don't want to burden my mom with having to pay for sushi for all my friends because even tho it's 6 dollars it can add up. My sister's birthday was 7 days ago and they spent a lot of money on her. And not to mention my grandma has been staying with us for about a month and my mom pays for almost everything for her. Anyways so one of my friends said she can for sure come another said she can come but I'd have to do it some time after two o clock . And another one of friends said they're broke. But the friend I wanted to come the most has plans the day before and his parents don't let him go out 2 days in a row. Last year for my birthday I went out with my friends to an arcade and mall and I paid for almost half of it with my own money. I feel like it's really annoying when people want to go out but have no money and it forces me to pay for it. I'm debating on just going out to eat sushi with my family but apparently my half sister is coming over. That shit really annoyed me because my dad didn't even ask me if I wanted her over. He does this to me every year. He always invites her over for my birthday and it always ruins everything. She's really annoying and doesn't know how to leave me tf alone. Anyways do you think I should just move my birthday party to next week or just celebrate it with my family? Because I honestly don't know. I think I need new friends

That sounds great! I guess it depends on your decision.. Sure your friends may be left out from your birthday, but birthdays are special moments and I think they'd understand that, but the other line.. Your sister really annoys you a lot huh
