Its normal to have your value structures blown to pieces when r a kid. Just study more and grow up.
Fight club Is an interesting film but you should watch it as a warning of fascism/idiology rather than an inspiration. When you lose a sense of purpose the goal Is to rebuild it And become an individual like So many greath writers suggested, such as Victor Frankl, Solzhenitsyn, Nietszche etc. Engaging in violence as a symbolic manifestation of inner struggle is no way to live.
Optimistic nihilism/absurdism Is weak af philosophically. Watch Jordan P. Lecture on existentialism/authenticity if u want some deeper explanations, Its an excelent lecture.
If u want read Frankls man search for meaning thats his most fundamentall work
Dont waste r time with Nietszche He Is way too complicated
Stoicism Is very good too
yeah people cant predict and manipulate you as easily
imo trying to find purpose and meaning takes effort. Just giving up and saying there is no meaning is usually easier and 'weaker' than actually trying to find your own place and purpose in this world
i wouldn't call it a weak philosophy though
Well of course
But Bro let me share with you an important point from my life
You can't "find" Meaning thats just complete bs
You have to live it
Its not just a rational construction
But J. Peterson exlores this deeply watch his lecture that i reccomend
fair point
