I can't take this anymore, this has been bothering me for too long and it's not even my own issue.
Recently me and my little brother(11y) went to visit my mom at another state. But I've observed that he's acting too different. Wayyyy too different than usual. He's acting way more childish. It's not like I hate him for that, idm, but the fact that it just started all of a sudden concerns me. It's like the first time that happened to him.

So I just started researching. A lot. First I just started researching for the ones I had (autism, ADHD) since I realized he also showed signs of stimming, hyperactivity and hyperfixationing, but really it didn't match much but I'll continue researching. Then I just thought about more possibilities. I even thought about DID/OSDD at one point(but it's still unlikely). I've also thought of littlespace(I think it's called that?) but really, I don't know, it's frustrating. this wasn't the sibling I know, I want to scream at him "WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS" so badly but ik it won't work.

To me it sounds like your little brother could be comfortable of expressing his inner child to his mother and i would highly advise you not to look for diagnosis in the start. It can be very misleading and symptoms can be easily attributed to many things that children do naturally.
