ngl spanking is a way of dicipline its not that they hate you.
what
Spanking is physical abuse.
then fvck I was abused as a child
It's not that they hate you, it's that they don't know proper discipline.
it’s also a punishment that almost every parent uses at some point in their parenthood
Also not true, it's a minority in the US at least.
Just because it used to be common does not make it beneficial.
well then if its abuse fvck i was rlly abused as a child
You can show them resources on spanking and the behavorial outcomes it produces, and also ask for therapy for yourself, and even for them if they're receptive. That's a big ask though.
Hate to say it this way, but maybe there's a reason you're on this discord, lol.

That kind of thing has been shown in many studies to produce negative mental health outcomes.
It has only downsides as a method of discipline.
shi* ok
Yeah, I was spanked til 6 or 7. It happens a lot, but accepting it as normal just promotes passing it on.
i was up until rlly 9 or ten but I still get it to this day
"ngl spanking is a way of dicipline its not that they hate you." you are 100% right
It’s effective tho. I’m glad I was spanked. Needs to have a good environment tho
Counterpoint: you named yourself after the joker.
My life’s a comedy
Effective? If you got the choice between writing lines or time-out, or the paddle, which one would you choose?
Personally I would go for the latter option, seeing as it gets over with quicker. So it's less dreaded, and requires physical force. Bad play.
