Team games are the best thing about duos and why many people play duos. The only ones that dont want them are the beans that can not dominate in solo show, so they team up with someone to play for easy wins because again, they cant cut it in solo show. I cant wait to see what team games Mediatonic creates for duos in Knockout.

"get teamed up with incompetent noobs" - that is exactly the point, you only want to play against those incompetent noobs without team games so you can dominate. That is it, there is nothing else to it, every person that whines about team games in duos wants to do this and is unable to see how bad it is for the game. They want to take there partner, who is also a wannabe tryhard, and dominate duos lobbies because they are not good enough to dominate in solo show. Without team games, duos is just a worse version of solos. Team games add variety and randomness that makes Fall Guys fun. I can not wait to see what the creative community comes up with when they create their own team games. In Creative Spotlight, I played a solos version of RocknRoll and it was great.

Was just grinding knockout wins. Plus 300 from the last 2 superstar ranks and all the hidden shards from however many wins I got in that time. Also daily and weekly challenges give hidden shards too

I won’t lie team games are fun, but it’s so annoying playing 2-3 rounds, to then lose by a landslide in basketball because teammates don’t know how to hold onto the ball

fall guys is kind of about embracing losses from these kinds of situations from time to time

Agree with op. Either rework so they are all like Volleyfall (playing with your partner only) or remove. Description is pretty clear "win or lose as a squad of 2 fall guys" not "win or lose as a squad of 2 fall guys and sometimes as a team of 4".
Only saving grace is they are super rare at the moment and MT thankfully don't seem to want to turn them up.

You can and should. It's not exactly wild to expect the description and mode to be true. If you are a new player and you play a mode that says "win or lose as a squad of X" it's reasonable to expect that.
Squads doesn't need them pulling either, just have them no show until you get down to 4 squads. Then you can have team games that are no mixed squads. No one will complain about that.
See Volleyfall, technically team, you see anyone complaining about that? No, why? Because it's your duo/squad only, not randomly mixed.
People don't hate team games, they hate the griefing and trolling that goes on with them. MT refuse to address it (the suggestion of multiple games going on at once like volleyfall, so it's your duo/squad only was even replied to on reddit by Joe with I'd love that and then nothing) instead choosing to let Johnny own goal and Billy no brain run rampant, so people hate them. And no, people saying "well billy no brain will be on the other team sometimes, so it evens out" doesn't make it better.

Yeah and whos fault is that? MT. No one told them to let it fester until now where they are a shell of what they were. It's not a new issue, people not liking being forced to play with randoms is not a new thing, it's been a complaint since near enough day 1 of the game. It could and should have been done as soon as squads was brought into the game. MT were full strength then and everyone would have been happy. Could have even gotten more team games as it would not light up the same arguments every time.
Even outside of that, MT have never ever done anything about the griefing, they even took it away as a report option giving a green light to trolls to run rampant.
And no these people aren't confused, they get the wrong side of the ball of fall ball and then whack, straight towards their own goal. Everyone knows how a ball works, you aren't accidentally doing that.
You can easily enough make it automated like other games. Overwatch bans are almost all automated with some safeguards. Only 1 report per game counts (to stop mass reporting) & has a high threshold of reports before action it taken. Generally works fine, you get the odd complaint but it almost always turns out that the player was griefing, smurfing or being toxic, because as it turns out, most players aren't just consistently reporting the same player game after game for no reason.
Same could have and should been done here. Actual mistake? no worries, a single report will do nothing. Johnny own goal banging in own goals every time, well the ban hammer is coming.
