I think it's the perfect time to add these with Treat Thieves, now people have to make wormholes manually using checkpoints and slime floors to make it feels like a wormhole. And sometimes it is really broken to say the least you sometimes spawn inside of walls and get stucked for a good 10sec or so.
That's my thought, I would see soo many people making genius use of wormholes, for exemple throwing blast balls inside one or idk
