I feel like it's worth an ask to see what can be done and then we'll all know the answer because it isn't clear what happened or what can be done about it and we should at least know for future reference and then we can go about retracing the shard steps if need be. I did take a screenshot of the highlights in case that isn't visible at some point for whatever reason.

I definitely don't understand how it can wipe out the shards but still leave the thread. makes no sense
