I know Disney was planning on wanting Fortnite to do something with Disney+ for this game, though I don't feel like it'd be a good idea as much.

But yeah, the addition gives me huge mixed signals imo. Especially as it doesn't feel as beneficial within Fortnite.

Honestly, some of their decisions within Chapter 7 have been bothering me since, like the In-Island Transactions. But also not huge with Kicks & Sidekicks generally because of the prices.

The change of Music passes for Free Tier tracks where instead of their new original music are going after Stock Music that's hard to tell if they're AI or not to avoid using them.

Also them slowly trying to implement AI-related stuff within it too bothers me. Wouldn't be shocked if Chapter 8 becomes more blatant.

I will say at least within the realm of Battle Royale, this season feels a bit more of an improvement from Season 1 (gameplay-wise) and I still have a bit of fun with what's there at the moment.

At most, it's a decent season.

I'll say this.. I definitely liked Chapter 7, Season 2 for what it was.

I feel gameplay-wise, it did improve upon some of the problems with Season 1 of this chapter.

There was just more going on that was helping to keep a bit of engagement, and the Overwatch event feels like a step-up from the South Park mini event.

Uhh.. I guess it was nice to see a few more original skins this time around.

Collabs-wise, besides the big brain-rotted elephant in the room..

I thought some of the collabs picks we're pretty cool to see. Mainly Looney Tunes, Phineas & Ferb, Disney's Hercules, Overwatch, that Pen & Ink Batman and Laufey.

Either way, Overwatch was probably the only collab I mostly care getting this update. The rest just don't click for me.

Ratatouille was just.. car stuff for Rocket League which is a little underwhelming. Even if no skins, would've liked a little more to it.

The Pen & Ink Batman is rad looking, but I already have a Batman. So it doesn't effect me much.

Star Wars stuff is Star Wars stuff, Never touched Crimson Desert to be excited, but cool for it's few fans probably.

I do really like the new original Traversal Emotes this update.. I guess? The Cartoon Cat is cool, but have zero interest in buying Shop Sidekicks.

And whatever the mystery collab will be is probably gonna be a content creator I know very little about or care, but for it's fans.. cool ya know?

At least gameplay-wise, I do think Season 2 is a step up from Season 1 because it did felt like there was more new stuff for it's gameplay.

Whereas Season 1 started out fine in the first month, but after early January and onward.. it felt pretty bare. Even when they had the South Park and Valentine's events.

Though in South Park's case.. it's just not the best theme to do when it's source material is a lot more out there and crude to accomplish when comparing to brands like The Simpsons, Star Wars, Marvel and Avatar: TLA.

Its most likely the rumored ue5 port, but i think it will be on fortnite, probably either being fully ported to fortnite or just making it so although its in fortnite you dont need to open it to play the newer port

Its also noting that there have been more leaks regarding rocket league assests to uefn and more cross progression items from the past, so i could see both the ability to creative rocket league maps in fortnite and the ue5 port being announced in a few hours
