To be honest, I kinda believe it because

A.) Joe seemed supportive of the current team's plans before he left to pursue in the new game studio and we have no idea on the new director atm.

B.) Epic has been pushing hard onto their Metaverse plans for Fortnite and likely told MT and Psyonix to port them over.

You already can but what it means is that you can port games made in unity into Fortnite

Especially as it would be impossible for Mediatonic to fully make a UEFN port and it'd be much easier for the devs to port it over.

I hate how floaty they felt. The ragdolling in UEFN was funny, but they controlled so poorly.

I'd imagine they probably will return to doing Creative-focused updates tho when they do get a potential port done.

I do think too that them going on auto-pilot in the way they are makes a lot of sense if all of the staff are needed to port everything onto Fortnite.
