the start is a little faster, and avoids the ledges where you are in the air and can get pansted/grabbed

when on the second box, jump dive back up (at a certain angle) to the green triange and purple box, then go back down to treadmill going your way

Getting Superstar winning Trick or Trapeze feels bad

Ooh that's a good one. Both the video I shared and this one get to the same trapeze cycle on the second section, so both are equally faster there.

Also, that ending jump stacking the last speed arch 3 times is a lifesaver, I recommend to practice that strat a lot

If you are behind someone that doesn't know this, it can let you comeback and win

and why people hate trick or trapeze is because it's not all that skill based

It's because all final rounds that have a crown at the end have at least some RNG factor to make it fair for everyone, like Lost Temple with the doors, Tip Toe Finale with the tiles and Fall Mountain with the cannons.
Trick or Trapeze doesn't have any RNG factor, so the one that gets a small advantage at the start or grabs everyone to make them respawn at the very beginning is the one that most likely ends up winning, so they think that is not that fun if you know who is going to win from the beginning

Also, not having any RNG factor or variant for being a creative round implies that the faster route is always going to be the same

Depends on what your rank is. Like rookie getting 50 points vs 75 for winning is insanely high for top 10 or so. At star, getting 10 points vs 200 for winning is insanely low for top 10 or so.

You'd be waiting ages if that was a thing.

if it is the same as with when they first added ranked knockout, no you wont get the points. it took them probably about a week to fix the bug that time. With the quicker turn around for the extreme ranked, hopefully they may jump on the bug quicker as well though

X-treme ranked is fun, it's nice to have a ranked mode not full of creative slop maps, but they still refuse to take points away for leaving the game like every other ranked game in existence.

It's supposed to be harder, but even with no points unless you win the final, it's normally obvious if you won't make the cut, so you can just leave and eventually fluke your way to wins on small rng thin ice or get a friendly lobby and timeout jump showdown or roll off.

Mostly this. Most of the maps in x-treme ranked you have to go out of your way to get knocked off, the handful you don't are survival anyway, so same in x-treme or not. If you have a bad start, stumble you can easily tell you are going to not make it and just leave and save your points & for the others you can just alt+f4 if you get bumped, then restart the game. Takes no time at all to reload.

Release maps that don't look like a beta test then. We are what, 2 years into "the future of the game" and we still have clipping issues, still have no flyover cam, so if you have never seen it before, just tough, work it out as you go. Budget is still pathetic, so you can either have something sort of nice looking but short because you used too much budget to make it look nice or long and bland.

Look at pier pressure, decent map, but looks like it was slapped together over a lunch break. Hop a drome, fun idea, supposed to be "lasers", but is just bars of slime and once again looks like crap.

Nah, I will die on this hill. Ranked is supposed to be ranked. Being able to cheat your way to rewards because you can leave or alt+f4 is stupid. No other ranked game lets you leave without taking points, so of course MT has to be different.

Yeah for example you can lose points in those ranks if you got eliminated early and silver has 5 sub ranks and bronze have 4 sub ranks

In regular ranked you don't lose levels until you reach gold rank and all the ranks below it also have only 3 sub ranks

Played since season 1, always Steam, always over ethernet, can count disconnects on one hand. Same applies to any game though really. Every game has a percentage who seem to suffer disconnects while proclaiming "their wifi is fine because it shows a big number", still get bonked for points.
