right now theres no way to be demoted from ranks, just the divisions, and superstar has no divisions

I'm struggling a ton to reach max rank in Fortnite and honestly I kinda like that

It makes hitting max rank actually feel like I accomplished something and it's difficult to get, meaning the rewards from it aren't literally worthless

Unlike fall guys literally everyone and their mothers can hit max rank in a single day with ease

It makes hitting superstar not really even feel like much of an accomplishment, and not even do points after superstar because that's literally just a measure of free time rather than true skill

Imo ranked systems should be difficult and rewarding with exclusive rewards that you have to work hard to get, but feel good about when you do get the rewards and the fall guys ranked system simply fails to deliver that experience

Ranked is a total flop already and it will remain to be one if they don't at least rework the system, and that's not even talking about the flaws of the round pool

It's not gatekeeping to want high rank rewards to be difficult to get and to be exclusive, it's how it should be as a way to show your skill, as crowns have failed for years to do that and now ranked has too since almost anyone who can hold a controller or keyboard is already max rank

I agree with you, reaching superstar should be a challenge, really the only challenging thing about the push was just the time you have to spend to play. But really say if you are a consistent winner, you get +200 9 times out of 10, you can reach superstar very quickly.

I think it should be more common to face tougher opponents when you rank up, because when I was ranking up, I had maybe one or three high skill players, and everyone else we’re not that great.

I think it should be more skilled players in each lobby the higher you rank up, like other ranked games

The grind from Star to Super Star is absolute torture. Only get a measly 20 rank xp for finishing a show and it's extremely difficult to win when you constantly get terrible final rounds like Blast Ball and Kracken Slam.

It's not really something you can truly rush, but you can always join customs with generally more experienced players in them and practice specific maps and you can improve a lot faster

It’s a different emoticon, and it gives more kudos/crowns. you can see the rewards in the pins. Most people think it’s pretty easy to rank up, it can just take awhile if you aren’t winning.

dodge to survive, id focus on:
finding a spot (i know 2) where you can stay alive without focusing on moving your character too much. Next be aware of who is around you, and make necessary jumps so people do not grab you, make sure you are behind people (relative to the front of the map being where the half-balls come out in case they try to grab you).

circle of slime - keep track of who is grabby, keep track of what parts of the map are do-able and where you have to jump over slime, a lot of awareness so you dont get grabbed. My recommendation is try going near the inner part of the slime, moves slower comparative to the outer part unless people r very grabby there.

hex a gone - rubbish final, mostly based on luck but rn the players in ranked arent really any good, you should be able to focus on cutting people off, to make your own island. if you know how to grab, please do so people run out your tiles less. awareness is key dont mindlessly run.
(MAKE SURE YOU CAN JUMP DIVE) to maximise the tiles you have if need be, and also look down for continuous pathing before you drop so you know where to go.

Roll off- learn the variations- there is a roll of website you can use. If you cba, this map is the most difficult one by far against anyone who knows what they are doing, try focus on not getting grabbed, and finding out a pattern you can repeat each game and hope you survive.

Kraken - i dont think rn you need to win by learning the timeout strat, I would try and stay alive for as long as possible, dont get into too many fights, learn to how avoid tentacles in multiple ways, make sure you dont get suicided.

-Blast ball, mostly random (i may be wrong), try to learn the jump strat so you can adjust where you land.

I was reading this thank you sm for all the tips!^^ I just won a solo with dodge to survive final right now and I'd like to add: survive and be aware, find your spot, but after sometime, you should move to the back and stay behind everyone. There's a red wave that will come super fast and (it seems?) It can't be dodged, everyone will be wiped and eliminated expect the last person in the back!

There's 3 hexagons in the middle front that indicates the waves, and the red one will shake for a moment before the inevitable wave comes, so that's your time to move to the back

Hard Mode isn't as competitive as X-treme Fall Guys, because it only features rounds hardest variations while offering the same rewards

so no, people don't play x-treme fall guys mainly for the rewards

That idea sounds good in theory but at the same time, playing a blatantly harder LTM for the exact same rewards sounds like a terrible idea; just because a ranked mode exists doesn't mean they should remove all remotely competitive LTMs just to try to force ranked to be on top. Once you reach superstar then there's really literally no incentive to play unless you literally aim to be #1 worldwide in points, otherwise nobody will really care because if you aren't first, then you're just grouped with everybody else, for example, you probably can't name the second fastest runner or swimmer; anyways the point is they shouldn't do everything in their power to shove ranked to being competitive if nobody really wants to play it after reaching superstar, there should be competitive and fun ltms on the side with a bigger reward as a good incentive for grinding

If you eliminate 16 players in round 1, then the final round will end up with 4 or 5 players which isn't too competitive and incentives time-outs

Imagine getting Button Bashers as the 2nd round, then you have 8 players and still one more round before the final round
