After reaching superstar, I want to share my final thoughts on ranked fall guys.

Lemme start with the positive aspects. First things first, I have never seen a game hook me up so much in its ranked mode. The moment I got my hands on it I knew that I wanted to reach the max rank. Idk, I just feel like this is the perfect game for ranked. Multiple rounds, a very big variety of ranks etc. I also loved how in the first ranks not only is it very easy (it basically just requires time). Also, the fact that the number of sub-ranks increase from gold rly shows how from that point, things get serious. My fav part was honestly star. The constant pressure, all of the great players, it makes a great final rank that pressures you to play to your limit. Also, not only do you only progress in the final, you ALSO have to win to make serious progress. It is honestly a very great step up from the usual and ordinary.

However, there wouldn't be a good thing without its flaws, right? Well, the map pool straight up SUCKS. The only good ones where some creative races, dodge dive and maybe swiveller. All the others involved RNG in some way and where honestly a pain to play. Also, sometimes I felt I was playing with a very tough competition, even in gold. I acknowledge that sbmm isn't working properly but god is it a mess. Finally, I don't think that you should only able to play solo. At least one friend should be able to join if they are in the same rank as you. Although I don't think that is completely necessary it would be more than welcome.

standing at the back middle was too close to the edge of the boat for my liking anyway. I've timed it out a couple times by standing on the right side between the dark blue ball and the red ball, near the front of the boat.. there are small, narrow corridors there where the balls won't hit you and just need to focus on jumping over the slime

the no rewards bug is super frustrating.. has happened to me mostly after I'm last to die in the final, so second place which makes it even more annoying in a way. I thought it may have something to do with mashing your way through the menus and skipping the celebration, so I've started watching the winner's celebration every time now and imo the bug has happened far less.. so I think it's sometimes related. But even then last night it gave me the bug two times despite watching the celebration fully.. so idk what is causing it

Review after getting Superstar: Extremely disappointing. Too easy, yet very annoying with the map rotation. Not enough competition. Rewards are paltry. SBMM non-existent. Non-unity maps all have this jankiness to them. Hoping to see improvements next season, won't be touching ranked again until then.

Anyways, for Kraken Slam you can go and grab everyone and make them fall or stay on the corners and jump as soon as the tentacles slam the platforms so you don't get launched, but the round is a bit glitchy since this update came out and sometimes the tentacles don't tell you when they are going to activate so it's a bit unfair (if they didn't fix it)

And for Blast Ball there isn't really a strategy, I personally do nothing until the 4 BB spawners are separated and attack from the distance

The grind to superstar can definitely feel repetitive, especially with the limited maps. I think the 150 crowns and the skin could be worth it for some people who enjoy the challenge. Plus, since each win in ranked knockout gives you a crown, it adds up. It might not be the most varied experience, but if you focus on mastering the maps, the grind might not take as long as you would expect.

nope, the sbmm in ranked doesn't really go based off ranks

it's the old sbmm where basically 99% of players are in the highest bracket to it might as well not exist

Slime climb and slimescraper having 100% qual limits is ensuring too many people make it through, keeping lobbies large and giving finals with a dozen beans far too often. Limits need to be reduced
