Go to obsidian feildlands. Make sure that the day there is really sunny. You'll know if you have the really sunny if you have a glare effect in the morning or if you check your map and the sun icon has a little lot in it. Then go to the area where there's a alpha lopunny usually spawn and there's a specific tree that would shake and have either a cherim or cherubi.
If it doesn't shake then you to jubilife village and go back to the obsidian feildlands and immediately to the shaking tree area.
I'm not that good at explaining but that the best I can explain.

How come when I put in the code and wait for the bot to do the trade, the bot says there isn’t a trainer found, when I know I typed in the correct code, and was connected to internet?

Did you connect to the internet? When you are on the trading tab press “+” and it will connect you to the internet and when that happend just add the code it should work, it happend to me ididnt know until i tried it
