Not saying you didn’t do any of these steps, but something may have been missing.

You must send in a Pokémon, that has been caught by you specifically (can be any Pokémon!) and once you enter the trade with the provided code, trade your Pokémon- and it’ll provide a file- I’m not entirely sure on the process after, but from what I gather.. you’d need to open it through PKHex. PKHex is a program used via PC, the file cannot be directly opened, as it won’t show anything pretty sure.

Taking a guess here but if you are trying to get a shiny starter that won't be possible. You can find Oshawott shiny in a mass outbreak but it won't be at level ten. The original starters you get from the Professor are shiny locked.

I can assure you it will not work (Pokemon HOME does tell you this but I'll say it now) any pokemon transferred from Pokemon Bank, Go, or Let's Go once put into Sword and Shield can't be put into Let's Go, Pokemon Home does notify you if you put something that can be in other games into Sword and Shield, once you save your boxes in Home the certain Pokemon can't enter certain games anymore, (for example something like a Vulpix hatched in Pokemon X)

That is very nice to read thank you so much. If I may give my opinion. The easiest way for people to get a team would be, if the bot drops for the new game and it is possible to force shiny eggs with the bot. Then anyone could make a team with their own ID/OT without difficult findig out and pokehex unsing. I could do a video explaining how to get the shiny eggs if it is working for the new game and if that helps you anyhow.

(Ribbon masters are around 50 pokemon from the gamecube games annoyingly trade to the switch, who have all the collectable ribbons on them), I have one in my possession but it is very tedious to train and collect more. Convert? If you send him yours and you have pkhex you can change it. If you have all the lines for getting one from the bot you can decide with the lines whatever nature or moveset you want

I think alpha comes before shiny

Sry if this question is annoying, but is there a way to code (without using pkhex) a ribbon master. (Ribbon masters are around 50 pokemon from the gamecube games annoyingly trade to the switch, who have all the collectable ribbons on them). Well my follow up question would be, is there a guide (where you see all the possible commands with ribbons and from what game/region the pokemon is, how old it is, and so on)?

The problem is, if the bot created your pokemon, the message is deleted so I cant check how it looks and maybe see where the mistake is. My guess is, that you might made a typo in the ability line so it choose a random one

I recommend you using Showdown for genning since its pretty simpel and with validate you can always check if its legal
