Unfortunately sw sh is infamous for this issue. First thing id suggest is leave the wild area andof you're trying from a mobile Hotspot connect to your regular internet and try again. If that doesn't help reset your Switch by holding down the power button reconnect to the internet and try again. If none of this helps it could be the type of your wifi you can do a connection test in your settings menu on the switch and it will tell you what NAT type you have Type a and b are good but c and d you'll almost never connect with

The Pokémon you requested is only available in this game via transferring it in, so a premade version of this Pokémon will be given to you to ensure no issues occur when transferring to future/other games. Any customizations like moves or OT will be ignored. what is this i am getting

yeah, the only way to get hoopa with your own OT is by transferring from go, and most of those end up being premades

this will presumably change eventually since it's in Z-A dlc, but we don't know how transferring out will work once gen 10 hits, so it may end up still being limited

They will need your name and ot sid tid and the met level needs to be lower than 20 if you're just starting out i usually just make the met location a picnic(egg) then they will listen even if they are lvl 100.
If you bring them over from home they just need to be lower or at lvl 20

If none of this helps it could be the type of your wifi you can do a connection test in your settings menu on the switch and it will tell you what NAT type you have Type a and b are good but c and d you'll almost never connect with

Unfortunately sw sh is infamous for this issue. First thing id suggest is leave the wild area andof you're trying from a mobile Hotspot connect to your regular internet and try again. If that doesn't help reset your Switch by holding down the power button reconnect to the internet and try again. If none of this helps it could be the type of your wifi you can do a connection test in your settings menu on the switch and it will tell you what NAT type you have Type a and b are good but c and d you'll almost never connect with

If there is an issue with connecting I suggest turning off the game testing you internet see if it's fine then restarting the game and see if that helps

If not then restart your switch completely and try again that should help

are you sure you are connecting online in the game? many trainers miss that step! also need to have a valid nso sub. the bot messages you 2-3 times before its ready to connect so its best to start inputting the code and connecting after that innitial "finding" message

EDIT: I got it to work! :> Just had to be a bit more patient and wait a few secs after the bot tells me they are searching for me!

Unfortunately sw sh is infamous for this issue. First think id suggest is leave the wild area andof you're trying from a mobile Hotspot connect to your regular internet and try again. If that doesn't help reset your Switch by holding down the power button reconnect to the internet and try again. If none of this helps it could be the type of your wifi you can do a connection test in your settings menu on the switch and it will tell you what NAT type you have Type a and b are good but c and d you'll almost never connect with
