No, they're all legit as far as Game Freak's systems are concerned

Its literally impossible for the bot to allow people to generate stuff like...a Fuecoco with Electro Drift and Psychic Surge for example.
So it can only be what is normally possible in game, and as such they get by just fine, cause they are all normal Pokemon for the most part. Only difference is they get genned rather than caught through regular means

Probably because something about the gen is illegal or not what it can learn movewise

It is almost always a moveset issue. Double check and make sure that the level you are requesting matches the level of the moves you are requesting.

IE, you're trying to get it to know Moonblast, but it can't learn that until level 84

You cannot request battle forms of pokemon. Read the pins in #swordshield-bot . Since this is the case, your Zacian cannot be crowned, and it cannot know any behemoth moves.

On top of that, you need to use .t or .trade before your request in order for the bot to recognise your trade

No real way to know, tbh. There are people who can find out if they had the actual pokemon, but they're few and far between. In general, if the pokemon makes it through Nintendo's checks and can be used online and makes it into HOME, it's usually indistinguishable from a legit pokemon. Honestly, the fact it's from gen 7, already level 100, and in a regular pokeball makes it suspicious to me, but I wouldn't let it bother you.

Right, encountered a random level 100 legendary in the past that was similar but had Pokerus with it. It indeed is tough to tell but I suppose in the end, helps fill the national dex.

In my experience, as someone who catches everything in a regular pokeball - people who catch things in a regular pokeball do it for a specific reason. They wouldn't trade it away the same day they catch it. Legendaries take forever to catch in one. So there's a very good chance that Solgaleo is genned. But if it made it into HOME, it's probably genned in a way that is legal enough to fill a dex. 😛

I don't use genned things for my living dex, but that's just how I do things. Nothing says you can't. 😄

You can apply ribbons, but it’s pretty random. I’ve caught a shiny Mankey and set my date to my b-date. I found a shiny poopish IV Mankey with this exclusive birthday batch. Then i evolved it into an Annilihape and afterwards I used the pk9 file to pimp its ribbons and IVs. About ribbons it’s pretty random. Idk what exactly allows what ribbon to enable, but I was able to apply a Gen 8 ribbon. 😂🤷

So technically from my brain side you should be able to apply a Rare or an uncommon mark to any wild caught Pokémon cause any has the chance to get that ribbon applied once captured. You cannot get those from breeding logically. But still tho, it didn’t allow me the Rare Ribbon. And that’s the part what I don’t understand.

I can’t remember if this is still a thing. You used to have to wait until it has learned all it’s moves by level up before evolving but with the move memory system that might not be an issue.

In any case, check it’s level up moveset and see if there are any moves that you want at a certain level.

In SV, the skill memory list is depending on the level. So no matter when you evolve it, it always remembers the moves what it was supposed to learn on a specific level. F.I. I over leveled my Sopple, I still was able to learn Snipe Shot from the Memory List.

.t or .trade and then you add the parameters for your desired Pokémon. Make sure that it’s not shiny locked.
