The time that you were provided is just an estimate. But obviously, sometimes it can get stuck or take longer than intended.

While the bot has provided you a code, it will send you a DM when it’s ready to make the trade. It’ll say initializing trade, which means you can go ahead and start typing in the code.

Considering that this is the first full day, there will be hiccups and they’ll need patience until the rocky patches are sorted out. It isn’t always like this, don’t worry.

It's likely that the bot is malfunctioning and not providing the correct Pokemon as it is aka mixing requests possibly. Someone said that the bot tried to give them Mankey when they requested a shiny Sylveon

I’m with hie use with the same problem it kicked my out twice in violet and I was ready for them 5 mins before as long as the problem is getting fixed I don’t mind but still like in the trade the bot quits on me after I choice the poke one to trade too
