Found the solution to your issue.
You were requesting mons at level 50. Likely because it seems like a reasonable point where they are generally strong enough to take out anything that you need to take out but still enough room there to train up and feel like yours.

Anyway, the solution is simple. The way the bots coding works doesn’t allow for a level 50 mon.
If you really want something at level 50; request it at level 49 and train it/candies.
Requesting a level 50 mon will always result in a level 100 mon.
