If it's SV at the end of the day you can just use bottle caps/mints/EV bands to adjust them to your liking. I'd say the only thing you'd probably want to aim for them is having a "no good" attack stat to mitigate foul play damage

And buff for eeveelutions to give them wider coverage to reach other eeveelution types
So like Flareon (who should get Sp.D swapped with Speed tbh) would could use Leaf blade/Seed bomb, Play rough, Crunch, psychic fangs, aqua tail, thunder fang/Wild charge etc. And all eeveelution recieve lets go Eevee Partner eevee moves respectivly to their type so Leafeon gets Sappy seed, umbreon gets Baddy bad etc, (all at 90 Bp) accuracy) and make them fail if used by other pokemons that arent the respective eeveelution or eeveelution at all, (not sorry smeargle)
Plus Tokens that are obtained by winning and could be used to example

• change permamently Pokemon's one type and only some can like
• Gyarados (replaces flying with dragon)
• Braviary (replaces normal with fighthing)
  Some extra ability
  Like Salazzle getting Mercilles (Toxapex's Not usually ran signature ability), Gliscor getting Toxic boost (after the change it may be better attacker to addition to being average stall pokemon)

You have a gameplan on what you want to do (stun, terrain, balance, etc) and start to look for mons that fit that and can work well with each other. You modify natures, IVs, EVs, natures, moves, items, and gimmicks to make them fit the way you want them to
Showdown is a good site to use since it can help you draft a team. Smogon is nice as well as it gives an idea of how a mon is used it's mostly for singles though iirc

Doubles are usually fast-paced, so setting hazards isn't too useful anyway, garg can be useful for those pesky zacians/zamazentas running around (specifically if they're crowned zac/Zama), I'd say maybe could be useful!

Just narrow it down to 2 physical attackers and you'll be perfect cause you don't really have any support outside of two moves on two seperate Pokemon. And stomping tantrum on Ogerpon is an interesting choice. Not saying it's bad, because it's not necessarily, but it is interesting.

Well Whirlwind is a super underrated pick just to deal with Setup or stall, but then again that’s sorta niche, so a common set for Corviknight is:

Defog
Iron Defense- for offensive-Maybe Whirlwind here
Body Press
Roost if you wanna be more long lasting and a offensive threat- Whirlwind if you want to be weird like me, or U Turn for a defensive set to have defog in case they set rocks again

If it’s singles it’s usually two that handle hazards, two that can break walls, and two that can clean up at the end

See this is where i come in! It's entirely based on the metagame you pick. Theres different tiers in Smogon University( the site that runs Showdown and a great forum for tournaments and advice)
AG- Anything Goes, the absolute broken crap like Mega Ray and Miridon

Uber- Where your strongest typically are, stuff thats really good like Urshifu and Ogerpon Heartflame

OU- Overused, strong pokemon that aren't necessarily broken bur are very strong, stuff like Ogerpon Wellspring and Tyranitar

UU- Underused, strong pokemon yes but lacking in power compared to higher tiers, but nevertheless useable, like Weavile and base Ogerpon

Inbetween tiers (aside from Uber and AG) there is usually a pokemon or two that is too good for the lower one but not good enough for the other, this is the borderline tier. For example, Meowscarada is UUBL, Underused "but loved" or borderline

RU- RarelyUsed, so not super good Pokémon competitively but may have a small niche or two, examples are Breloom and Kleavor, both strong yes but pretty niche

Also a RUBL pokemon would be like Hydreigon

NU- NeverUsed pretty bad pokemon nobody is running, if anything probably maybe because its a favorite or its a gimmick examples are Vaporeon and Bellibolt

PU- Which is the only one that doesnt stand for anything that sorta being P-U, though they deny that in showdown, you get the idea the pokemon are getting well worse and youd be right with pokemon like normal Hoopa and Skunktank

And last and least, is ZU- Zeroused this is the bottom of the pit, trashy pokemon that might just have bad stats, no strategies and not used at all. We got Swalot, Charizard and many many more

A strategy just popped into my head rn, mega meganium with pelliper in the rain, your mega meganium can still use attacks as if it was in the sun and you can use this against a sun team to shut down their sun with rain while you have a Pokemon who has access to sun boosted moves

If you're just starting typically it's good enough just to max your attacking stat and speed, unless you're a slow pokemon like Torkal then go for HP, and of course for tanky pokemon you want your defenses invested

It's speed won't be raised in the same manner as using a stat buffing move but sneasler's speed will be treated as double it's normal speed unless there is some sort of bug making preventing it from happening

Guys, I just actually had a clutch win with this team very recently

I was using a borrowed team that was made pacifically for using mega Floette in double battles and during the battle, my opponent using a mega Lucario and one shotted it and I thought was cooked but I made a through to my last opponent Pokémons which was Corgiknight and I had Maushold with 1hp thanks to there focus Sash and Talonflame with somewhere around 2or3/4hp left in every time I use super fang and flare blitz it regained HP from leftovers and roost and he was targeting on Talon by using body slam but right at the moment I thought I was cooked Talon decided to lock in and do a critical hit knocking out their Corgiknight but also going down with it and leaving Maushold we’ve just 1 HP
