Theorically yes, but the problem is that you have to get it done in three different windows (only four windows available per day), because you can only trade one shard of each hero in each window.
So it is not easy to get it done if you are trying top prices (probably you will miss one window...).
I think that buying it's more easy (I have done it several times, 3 matches in one day for the same hero), probably because buying prices are more accurate (or the machine respect them 😁 )

it seems from my experience and from others, people aren't ale to sell three sshards of samehero in one day. Theoritically we should, but that's not happening IRL. For past 5 days i have been able to sell only two aly shards, the third doesnt trigger. so in the final hours of fourth window i place a bid for another hero. The game devs need to patch this up.

Buying is definitely more stabile. I've never missed buying transaction with the right price. Just takes reset, +6, +12 to get daily quota. Selling however is more random - and there I've gotten better results with multiple heroes per day

I may have one discrepancy around the change between high/low hikes/drops so we should clarify next buy cycle.

I think it's just a supply/demand correction. As I see it, after a cycle the heroes get a price modifier. If there is no change in buying and selling a hero compared to the previous cycle, then this change is zero.

If nobody would buy the TOP heroes, they're price would drop.
And if everyone wants the same hero, it's price will rise
