I received these AirPods on Thursday (02/27) and tested them until today (Monday) 03/03, before handing them over to my sister. Since I used them for a short time, I can't assess durability yet, but I'll update the post as she uses them.
Build Quality
The build is excellent, both in the case and the earbuds. The materials feel premium, and the pieces fit precisely. The case hinges are firm, with no weird looseness.
Sound Quality
The sound is impressive, with good bass and overall balance. The highs are clear, without noticeable distortion, and the experience is quite immersive. If you like customizing audio, I recommend using the "HiFi" EQ in the FlyCC app, which enhances clarity even further.
Features & Functionality
Conversation Awareness: Works very well and activates almost instantly when it detects someone speaking.
Adaptive Mode: Improves voice pickup indoors, making conversations clearer. However, in very noisy environments, it may amplify unwanted sounds.
ANC (Active Noise Cancellation): Blocks most surrounding sounds, making the environment very quiet. It doesn’t provide 100% isolation but makes a significant difference.
Transparency Mode: Naturally amplifies ambient sound, allowing you to hear what's happening around you without removing the earbuds.
Other Points
FlyCC offers multiple EQ options to adjust the sound to your preference.
The app now supports OTA updates on iOS (for the 1571am chip).
Shipping took 10 days.
Partial Verdict
From what I've tested so far, these AirPods deliver a great sound experience, with effective ANC and smart features that work well. Since my sister will continue using them, I'll update the review if anything new comes up.
