disclaimer!! i am by no means an audiophile however i do enjoy good quality sound. for reference, i have retail airpod 3s, apple earbuds, bose, and have tried the original air maxes in store and have tried the sony xm4s. so i'd like to say i'm a casual listener but i wouldn't ever use like dollar store headphones so take that of what you will with this review.
Shipping: 8/10 took a week and half to come so pretty good, jenny literally shipped the next day after i paid so that was pretty surprising and impressive lol (kind of an L for me tho cuz i wanted to ask if i could get it cheaper if i had no offical box lmfaoo)
Packaging: 6/10 it was packed really well but the box was damaged and the inside was smushed as fuck for some reason??? don't know what happened there or if she literally shipped it like that. idc about the box so it doesn't matter for me but for others that might be something to take note of.
Build quality: 8.5/10 honestly i was surprised with the build quality, everything seems pretty solid despite it being all plastic. i thought it would come with the plastic being thin and hollow asf but it's not that way at all. hinges are pretty smooth, crown is smooth and not clicky, however the buttons are quite clicky and loud. also fyi it is not sprayed with powder metal so not cold to touch. mesh is thinner and not as dense as the original so i do worry about that potentially ripping in the future. btw it's obvious it's plastic when you touch or clank them together.
Sound quality: 9/10 bish whoever tf is hating on these headphones are tripping asf tbh cuz i was SHOCKED. these are way better than i was expecting. i bought these for mostly looks so i didn't care if it was mid quality but these are literally good like hello?? JUST MAKE SURE YOU HAVE GOOD SETTINGS FOR YOUR EQUALIZER !!! i can't stress that enough. if you got these on the pre-set settings on your phone than no shit it's gonna be bad. sound is all about preference. i will say with these on the normal equalizer settings the bass is way too much even though i like bass, so yeah for sure get your equalizer settings to your liking cuz otherwise it's a skill issue tbh
ANC: 3/10 barely there BUT i do feel that gross "pressure" that you get with noise canceling headphones. i don't liek the feeling of noise canceling so idrc anyway but keep that in mind if you expect good noise canceling
Transparency: 9/10 honestly i personally have no issues it's not crystal clear like the original but it serves its purpose
Spatial audio: 7/10 not prominent and not like originals (no shit) but it definitely works
Comfort: 7/10 no issues SO FAR, i do worry about it hurting my head though cuz it is heavier than i'm used to for headphones. the ear cushions are definitely not the softest but don't bother me and you can get a replacement if you want (i heard this also helps noise bleed and ANC), it is a bit tight so if you have a big ass head might be uncomfortable for you!!! but also better to work out or be active in compared to the originals which fall off way easier.
Flycc App: 10/10 no issues lol if you're android like me you need the app it's super helpful for switching modes, telling you the battery life etc.
anndd that's my review! feel free to ask any questions i'll be happy to answer. i only had em for a day but if any issues arise i will come back and notify yall fs. i also put a plastic case on them to protect them as well as hide the fact that they're not aluminum so i included a pic of what that looks like as well.
i think the biggest caution when buying these headphones is to know what you're paying for. if you expect these headphones to look, feel and sound EXACTLY like the original then honestly you're literally the problem 😭 like it's $130 vs $700 LMFAO. if you want crazy good sound quality just buy the sony xm4s for $400 lol. sick of yall hating on people who enjoy these headphones lol anyway i might even cop the metal ver later if it's as good/better
