||https://discord.com/channels/657235952116170794/1100850951801286696|| was the original review on these AirPods. In that review, I got them day of, so a more comprehensive review was never in my mind at the time of writing it. Its now August, and I am still using the same pair today. On top of that, I literally use these every single day- when travelling to work, at home, literally everywhere. So in this version of my review I am diving farther into this pair, what might be the most popular?
Payment - 10/10
There are many ways you can go about buying AirPods off of Jenny. The well known version of payment would be purchasing through their website, using Wise money transfer, and so forth. For me, I bought my pair off of Alibaba, which I still prefer to be the better version of payment; as you can purchase using card or PayPal. On my end it was a simple click and enter info purchase, just like a regular Amazon walkthrough.
Delivery - 10/10
In the previous review, I took the 10 days of shipping pretty harsh. Seeing as how these reps are being sent all the way from China, it is arguably pretty quick. 10-13 days are the general length of time it takes for any rep from any vendor in China to get to you. So as far as this goes, it is very fair. You're never left alone in the dark either, as Jenny provides easy communication directly to her (via WhatsApp, email, or Alibaba) and typically responds fast.
Packaging - 9/10
When the reps arrived on my doorstep, it was a fairly small (but thick) bag; lined with bubblewrap inside whilst holding the box itself. The actual box was a near 1:1 version of the AirPods Pro box, literally almost identical. Only reason I docked one point at all would probably be the safe factor, maybe requesting more padding to protect it on it's long journey across international travel.. but it really isn't that big of a deal. Just a pet peeve for me.
Peripherals - 10/10
Inside, you get the typical Apple design paper, followed with your Pros wrapped in it's ol' plastic wrap. Feels just like the originals, and you still get all the buds & charging cord inside. I've seen some people complain about this specific pair, claiming sometimes their extra buds are missing, but you rarely even have to change that.
Connectivity - 10/10
Once you open the case, with an unlocked iPhone next to you, it pairs and connects just as any other regular AirPods products would do. Really nothing else to say here, since it's pairing it hasn't glitched out or caused any connectivity issues at all.. it worked great!
Sound - 10/10
This is gonna be broken down in a few categories. Using these consistently since it's purchase, going everywhere with them; I believe that it definitely performed far beyond what I expected when I first bought the thing. I dove deep into this like last time, but I feel as if a more properly detailed structure would fair better.
Bass is definitely the highlight. These pairs were meant to specialize in bass (TB), but to say it performs well would be a serious understatement. Certain songs (while turned up to max volume) literally shake my eardrums to the point of wanting to reduce volume, or just remove the earpiece all together. I can say with confidence, that they perform far better than my Sennheiser 450BT; and I paid $200 for those.
Vocals sound great. Beyond more bass induced music, I listen to a lot of singing music (ex. Daniel Caesar, Frank Ocean, Giveon) on the side, and as crisp as the bass, the voice and details follow through. Crystal cut clear, could not tell at all that they were being played off of a fake.
Sound Cancelling is by far my most favourite feature. The muffling and muting on these do so much better than a real reputable noise cancelling product, these cut out EVERYTHING, when accompanied with music. I work at a day camp, and charter from school bus to home; I can't hear the kids yelling at all.
