Just got mine in and they are a total waste of money. If you wanna clout chase and are that desperate to look cool, I can’t stop you. But if you care even in the slightest about audio quality and consistency then you are better off getting skullcandy crusher evos
The audio quality is alright, but turning spatial audio on and having any bass heavy content sounds like blown out meme content from 2015. Not good. There is a loose weight in my right headphone that I have to fix since it rattles if I move at all, and most of the bass is on the right side.
The headphones squeeze your head like a tomato and EVERYONE can hear anything you listen to, no exaggeration. Unless you have the volume on 3 people around you will hear whatever content you are listening to. I bought these as an experiment and can not recommend the Max V2 clones as an even somewhat quality product, regardless of the fact that it took 40 days to show up at my door. 4/10 overall, a headset from Ross would probably sound on par and have the same comfort and build quality

I know the review is a little harsh, but I expected a little more from these headphones. I can’t lie, I’m listening to more music and putting the audio quality through its paces and it does a pretty good job at handling bass and highs at the same time, with mids getting slightly drowned out in the process. The mix is definitely more in the right headphone, and I can’t be bothered to find an android tablet to tune this headset or whatever, so I guess I’ll just live with it. If these were 85 dollars I could justify the price to performance but the $140 out the door is too much. Save up and get a real pair or get Skullcandys or something.

If you want to look the part and 60% sound the part, then sure get it. Everyone around you is going to hear what you are listening to and you won’t be able to hear them, even with “transparency” on. All you end up hearing is wind noise as you walk btw

Get an ifixit kit
You can open them up without a hairdryer. Just have to tug a bit on the screw hole and it will pop off. The right ear has a ribbon cable and power cable so be careful. My battery was loose and moving a lot so I glued that down, and my button was rattling so I put 3 small squares of paper under it and it solved it. You aren’t going to break anything if you are careful
