So I just got my V4.9Tb from Danny and here are my thoughts. Do note I just got them so some fields may not be there as I need to use them more in order to give a proper statement on them!
Build quality: 8/10. The product feels very premium. It has quite some weight with it too, which I didn't expect. The airpods themselfs feel good too. Overal not much wrong with the build quality.
Sound quality: 7,5/10. This comes very much down to preference. The airbuds come with a very flat curve (so low, mid and high are meant to all be the same). I like some bass-heavy eq. Although you can tweak it, they lack a bit of bass, but they have more bass than the og airpods, so that actually a reason to go with knockoff's instead of the real one's
ANC (active noice cancelling): 7/10. The ANC if very good at room noices, such as computers, general speaking which is not directional to you and most of the other sounds you would want to cancel out. But, they are not the best at muting other people talking to you, nor more louder noices. They are fine, and especially for the price, but maybe could be an improvement down the line.
Pairing and stability: 8,5/10. These paired flawless. They came with the latest firmware, so they bypassed the ios16 non-genuine airpods message and the overal functionality of them are great with an iPhone. With an android, the cloudcc app is great for updating, but less for the controls, as they require you to manually connect with them in the app every time. By the way: If you get a non-genuine airpods message when pairing, update the firmware using an android device and you are all set!
Overall rating: 8/10. They are really good, especially for the price. I would strongly recommend them. Even though these aren't in the 2nd gen case, I think the stability and fit and finish is worth the older case.
