Okay, here's a question that may have been asked a hundred times already, or not? I have zero understanding of game development, but was still wondering if it is possible that a CTRL+D and CTRL-Z function could be made, as in the sense of a duplicate (any object/pieces of fireworks) function and an undo function.
This would make misplacing multiple objects smoother or placing multiple objects side by side, by duplicating, faster.
I also notice when I place single mortar tubes that they land the same way as the cakes. Cakes with a flat surface fall neatly into place this way. Mortar tubes on the other hand fall over more often, and when you want to place several tubes and you move they fall over even faster because of the movement you make. Is it possible for mortar tubes or also rockets to always start with a vertical axis alignment? So that you do not have to use the rotate function, this can also provide a nicer playing experience as the rotate function is actually meant for moving a placed object out of position. However, when you still have to place an object this is very inconvenient. I prefer to place mortar tubes myself, not by means of the attach option, and then move them into position. With racks, this is less of a problem because they have a flatter surface, only with fast movements you tend to tip them over.
What would also be very nice is that you could set that when you move a dropped object again with 2 on the keyboard, that it does not adjust the rotation itself by moving. So then you maintain the angle and you can place objects in the same position next to each other faster, this of course only if some kind of duplication option could be made.

You can just press E+shift that gives you snap rotation that would lock set it up exactly straight up

At some poi t there will be a smaller version of blueprints that only saves for example in an area of 4x4m that you could than move around and multiply
For a copy tool I don't really see any use for it to be honest
I rather see a reselection tool or how ever you wanna call it
Something that works like this
You just aim at the firework you want and the game chooses that firework as a spawn able object
Snap rotation will have smaller angles at some points currently it's only 45Β° snap
I like the idea of an undo button would basically just delete the items in the reverse row that you spawned them in
About the mortars
The only way to do that would be by giving it a bigger bottom collider
And that would mess it up when it's on the side
It would be like having a big invisible platform under the mortar
Or you would have to remodel the mortar with some base plate connected so you could hide the colliders in that
Is even better ofcourse, I thought I keep it simple ππ
But will take some time till laumania gets to that
Currently the firing system is first
This I do understand yes. What I also notice now is that when you want to add a second loose mortar tube close to one already placed, it flips. You can't actually place it nicely against another mortar tube, more often it will be just too high or the game will find that they hang together. When you shoot 2 shells from both tubes, they literally pop against each other while the tubes should be solid.

Ofcourse, and he is doing great work! We can excpect something very nice in the future. I can say if there is a firing system, then it will be the first 3d simulation software, even better a whole game you can walk through your own show when firing it with the system. Very nice!

Even I do not have any experiences with Unity, for me it's almost like Cinema4D, so I recognize some edit panels.

Ow, I think so yes! That's also knowing how it is in reallife indeed. I do have a lot of pyrotechnics and show experiences with systems like Explo or Finale3D. And next to the scripting softwares who I still love the most, FWmania is having by far the best 3D effects at this moment.
We have enough plans and ideas to keep laumania busy for multiple more years π

It's very strange.. but exactly the way FWmania was made. Sometimes people with fireworks interests need to see some effects or hear some explodions. Even in this Show season haha.
For example I really want a drone mode but I know a bunch of other things are way more important currently so I will have to wait for that π

I did manage that timefuse trick to have exact time moments. Like 1, 2, 5, 10 seconds
So putting one rack down on the left side of the street against the border, then 4 to the right and one in the middle
Left to right with medium fuse is exactly 10 seconds, i thought. Write it down on a paper. π
So from 1 to 5 (left to right) is 10s, and back is 20. So 1 to 2 is like 2 or 3 seconds or something. And 1 tot 3 (left to the middle) is like 5 or 6 seconds.

Timing some cakes and writing down the duration. Most of the 25/36 shots cakes are 20s or 25s, so those are easy. But the long ones means a lot of left to right haha
