Mid fight, one or two of the keys W, A, S, or D will stop working, and I will just be stuck there. Usually it is W or S that breaks, and I can not move forward or backwards, getting stuck and dying.
I just did a fresh install of Windows, and it is still a problem.
It might be related to the input method I am using, which is an Xbox 360 controller left thumbstick, that is bound to WASD.
I tried binding the thumbstick to Arrows Keys. Then rebinding movement in Gunfire Reborn to Arrow keys as well. I am still having an issue. It is usually much less frequent when not fighting, and seems to occur the more enemies there are on the screen. My PC is more than strong enough to play the game though (RTX 3080ti, Ryzen 7 5800X, 32 GB CL16 3600Mhz RAM, M.2 NVMe SSD).
Alternatively, is there a way I can make Xbox Controller Analogue movement work at the same time as keyboard + mouse? Using one disables the other usually. That would circumvent my issue.
