I think it would be cool if you could see others goblets, because it would be helpful to know what build your teammate(s) have. Also you have a better understanding of what scrolls you can give them to help them out.

I don't think it's necessary for the devs to implement a mechanic that just makes it easier for you to dictate how your friends should play
