Spiritual Assault was never properly balanced.

The most work it had done on it was buff some player things and nerf specific enemies.

In particular, the slower you kill things, the worse it'll be later.

So messing about or needing to revive players all the time will make everything harder later on.

Solo is probably better? At the very least you won't have the massive health increase that multiplayer brings, letting you kill things quicker.

You also don't have to sacrifice jades to get your multiplayer talents back, which ironically are more vital in SA than in the main game.

Some characters have bad synergy, like Qian Sui and Xing Zhe and Ao Bai, but Qing Yan, Li, Crown Prince, Lei Luo, all seem decent with it

What do you think is the best last star+functional deck weapon? Hell, or does having enough reload speed make other options better?

Like how much reload speed would it take to make a wild hunt better, or is there a sweet spot for Mortar with like Nimble Finger left click or something

Rainbow Arch's weapon skill used to do up to 640 damage, or 1280 (1600 with talents) when critting.

Compare to Goshawk/Golden Bow, which did 400 damage, or 1600 (1900 with talents) when critting.

Now though? Rainbow Arch does 800 damage, or 1600 (2000 with talents) when critting, at half the ammo cost.

And yet despite those facts, it's still a questionable choice for the game's main sniper hero, thanks to it not being classified as a sniper so it can't receive sniper-exclusive bonuses, and weapon skills not working with Magical Supply.

I feel like I'd need enhanced resilient life or flesh and bones to have enough Regen to survive 14.4 RPS Wild Hunt

Idea being that I keep the Gemini buff up for +150% multiplicative damage and +60% fire rate while staying low for magazine mod bonus damage

In return I'd need to reload every 3-3.9 seconds to keep nimble fingers up with a 0.4 second reload and to refresh gemini

This should be better than using a hell

And ideally I'd get nimble fingers on anyone but Nona so I can play someone more fun

Maybe Tao for warlike blade?

But then the ammo recovery could make the reload inconsistent

Obviously this is for optimizing damage outside of boundless or endless journey, for a standard run

But even all that just sounds like a boss melter when the wolf gaze with enhanced roar detonation on kill clears a whole wave

Is boss DPS even as important as clearing speed?

And how does that max wild hunt compare to a min maxed woodpecker using lightning ball on crit thunderbolt build for bosses anyways?

Pretty much the only modifier guaranteed to make things worse is Transcendent Arsenal, and that's only if you don't go into endless looping.

• Spiritual Link is a pure buff.
• Mysterious Jokul makes the game harder but gives more scrolls/ascensions (more damage).
• Lone Wolf gives a free blessing and more enemies to kill (more copper/kill stacks).
• Interdependent Fortunes gives you free scrolls. The downside only matters if you're stupid with what you choose.
• Ascension Fusion is a buff for more ascension variety, and only has a downside if you pick stupid choices.
• Mission From Above gives you free buffs, and only has a downside if you somehow fail the ridiculously easy missions or pick stupid choices.
• Boundless Dream is a pure buff, giving you bonuses for recycling scrolls even before you even start endless looping.

It's good, which in this game translates to "worse than many other weapons and skills".

One of the best ways to use it involves an equivalent to trick shots, but that requires setup where most weapons could just kill enemies without setup.

Elite Mandrill Cavalry is the most unfair late game enemy, but it's also pretty much the only thing that can withstand and counter many of the builds you get in Reincarnation difficulty or multiplayer.

You get different mechanics and quests/rewards for each season, but you don't have to pay for it, you don't have to obsessively grind to complete most quests, you don't need to do all quests to get every reward, you can still buy the rewards with soul essence when the season is over, you can still switch to previous season mechanics if you want, the game becomes easier because of what you get, and you literally can't turn it off even if you want to.

Oppressor is a joke of a blessing ever since All or Nothing became a blessing. You either need another, better blessing just to make it useful, or Nova Release which is slow to use and forces you to hybridize.

Otherwise you're relying on enemies managing to damage you (any damage reduction makes this worse) or the unreliable chance of getting Bloody Ammo or Capacity Overdraft.

So I'm stuck trying to keep my dual wield active for 5 mins, I have battle tested lvl 3, basically inf ammo (enhanced skateboard and basically inf dash from scrolls) increased ROF and I'm currently using star devourer and concealed ammo and I swear my timer just kind of like glitches out where it just stops registering that I'm shooting or something because it just stops filling up after a while to the point where it's impossible for me to reach the full 5 mins, I've even tried changing rooms to get kills for extra time too, like the closes I got was like around 4 mins but that is at my best most of the time it only lasts like a min or 2

just switched out concealed ammo for critical scalpel in double shot mode and it's like the same problem no idea what to do from here which kind of sucks because it takes time to reach this point and it's pretty frustrating to what feels like what should be a easy-ish challenge shrug it almost feels slightly bugged but it could also just be me idk

Elite enemies gain freeze resistance the longer they've been frozen. Spamming it like that with no bonuses to freeze duration quickly results in the freeze lasting less time than your casting animation.

getting the best use out of the Rainbow means doing the exact samet thing you'd be doing with the bow (aiming for the weakspot), except you have to do it with a targeting redicule first, before letting out a stream of sustained damage that takes time to deplete health, whereas the bow just chunks that health in one step

the reason why my resistance was low then was because of my enhanced spirit feline
