The other thing frustrating about Zi is that he's almost entirely dependant on his secondary because his primary is useless for half the game but is one of a few characters that doesn't have any talents to get more like Tao's refund one for every 5 marks or Lei's refund half when shield breaks talents.

His primary is kind of a joke lol, it's fun thematically but I think the odds should be set for the whole run and change the capstone to give us some way of getting cards back maybe refund a card pack any time the astrohouse is filled 3x or to full depending on balance/ascension interaction.

Half his ascensions punish you for getting them because they constantly fill the astrohouse making it impure all the time when you could've saved a pure one to use against a group of mobs.

I didn't find I liked the mech panda either just felt ... not interactive I guess?

Where as the owl is interactive but self sabotaging and pretty unintuitive at times

If he didn't rely on a talent to improve odds each stage and just had set odds somewhere between stage 2/3 for the whole run that'd be a lot better imo, and give him some kind of card recovery as a capstone he'd be a lot more enjoyable/consistent even with requiring talents to function / modify scrolls

For the frame, all that matters is you get to pole monarch/gluttony and when you beat the game all the scrolls are the same quality? Or you have to only pick up the same quality all game and can't drop them/reset them before the fight

You start with fresh cards if you keep refreshing the secondary skill and it goes into reserve when the max number of cards are on screen, though I think the more cards spiritual link adds 3 more but I could be wrong. And you can tell how many are in reserve with the number underneath the secondary skill

And base summoned cards can go past 10, like this for example

But you need under control to have that amount and have a lot of reserves

The simplest one is just getting Terminal Lucidity

If you got demolished in any number of hits, even 10 with Enhanced Spirit Feline, you weren't invincible.

Just get Windrider and some dash cooldown reduction and you'll see true invincibility.

Well for starters, Mysterious Jokul makes all elites enhanced. They all have between x2 and x6 the usual HP.

And possibly also a contribution is Interdependent Fortunes, if you're giving the enemies scrolls that makes them tougher.
