I think once I saw a fic that mentioned in an author note the "ao3 algorithm" and I was like 😭 what. ao3 has no algorithm. it's not a social media, it's an archive. it doesn't show you any content you don't specifically look for

Like. The whole point of tags is for u to be able to mute them, censoring them with special characters and numbers just makes it harder, and it's not like it's not understandable ... Unless it's so confusing from being so heavily censored that it isn't—which ruins the purpose of it being a warning in the first place

The student looks up to the character bc they believe he's strong but in reality, the guy is trying to get her to kill herself from unreasonable training bc her strength is scary. It backfires bc she somehow manages to prevail and just keeps getting stronger and stronger, and now he's terrified of her abilities. He couldn't get rid of her or kill her off no matter what he tried.

I think it'd be funny if KalRobi had a similar dynamic w their newbie and mentor dynamic they have in canon, esp w Robin just following him around and looking up to him a lot like the other character. Like, Kalego is still strong of course. But instead of trying to get rid of Robin from following him around everywhere just bc he finds him annoying, it's also because he finds Robin scary.

"I don't either!! That's why I called this meeting! I don't know what to do with this information and it bothers me!!" Cries Lied with his hands in his hair. Seriously! He really didn't know what to do! He was feeling a mix of shock, disbelief, twisted interest, and disgust—all at once!!

On one hand, this was peak teasing material to mess with Kalego about. But on the other hand—Kalego! Dating someone! Being lovey-dovey! Making kissy faces and cuddling! SMILING!!!! Oh he felt sick just thinking about it.

"Uhm..." Iruma slowly raises his hand in the midst of all the ruckus, "so... who is it exactly that Kalego-sensei is seeing..?"

"That's the thing, I don't know." Lied answers. His classmates stare at him again.

"Let us not waste anymore time here, Iruma-sama."

"Wait!!" Lied shouts at his already ditching classmates, "Like I said, I know it's hard to believe, but it's true!"

"But I mean, man, how do you know that if you don't even know who it is? Don't tell me you just saw him smiling at his phone and automatically assumed he was dating someone, right? I mean, knowing him, he was probably talking or thinking about some new hellish work assignment or something." Sighs out Jazz with a flippant wave of his hand.

"Suspicion must stem from truth, or else it is merely fruitless speculation." Says Allocer.

"It's not like I don't have any clue at all! In fact, I've managed to bring it down to 2 possible demons!!"

"Oh really? Who?"

"Well, first off, the first possible demon Kalego-sensei is dating is Robin-se—GUYS, STOP LEAVING!!"

"I'm sleepyyyy... And this is stupid..." Yawns agares. Not even Gaap stops him from slumping back onto his Cloud for a nap.

"I still do think you should go to the nurse's office, man." Comments Jazz again.

"I didn't hit my head, I haven't lost my mind, I'm completely..." Lied stops talking and instead stills, staring at empty space.

"... He's lost it—"

"Shhh!" Lied hushes Jazz to shut him up, focusing on listening in to the now quiet room.

Yes. Quiet except for the muffled laughter coming from empty air besides him.

"Dammit—I know you're there, Purson!! Show yourself and back me up! You were agreeing with me earlier!!" Lied rapidly stabs the empty air at wild where he vaguely guesses Purson is at. Said demon's voice rings slightly nearby.

"No, I'm just the air."

"Air doesn't talk!!"

"Fine, fine." Purson slowly fizzes into existence, he's closer than what Lied had thought. Purson takes in a breath and—oh no.

"Anyways, yeah, after spying on—watching Kalego-sensei for awhile I realized "woah, he totally has something going on, I need to find more out so I can finally get dirt on him". So I kept watching him, and like, it was really hard to tell at first, but after awhile I could tell there was something between Kalego-sensei and either of them.

The thing is, I can't tell who it's with either. Maybe he's crushing on both? I dunno. Balam-sensei, I kinda expected. Because I mean, have you seen them? Kalego-sensei is like the only one who calls Balam-sensei by first name, and you could blame that on them knowing each other since they were students, but also it's really suspicious on how Kalego-sensei always tries to change it to "Balam-sensei" last minute in front of others. Like, he's definitely hiding something. He's also always sticking around next to Balam-sensei whenever he's there, when usually he's trying to get as far away from other demons as possible.

And then there's Robin-sensei, who I thought considering him was like, totally crazy. But then I saw something crazier that made me doubt completely crossing out the possibility like before. Robin-sensei is clingy. Like. Really clingy.

I watched him for a bit to see if he was just like that with everyone, but even if he gets decently into other people's spaces and sticks to them, he doesn't latch onto them or try to latch onto them like he does with Kalego-sensei. The craziest part? I saw Kalego-sensei let him do it once.

Usually Kalego-sensei gets after him for it and tries to shove him off—though it's already weird that it takes him awhile to do so considering he's a higher rank—but this time when Robin-sensei hugged his arm, Kalego-sensei just frowned down at him as Robin-sensei said some things while smiling. In the end, Kalego-sensei just sighed and turned away, letting him stick for a bit. I couldn't believe my eyes. I wanted to throw up. What was with that lovey-dovey scene? But the scenes between the three kept getting worse and so I stopped spying on them before I actually got sick. But I still don't know who he's dating either, or if he's seriously so pathetic he's just crushing on both without saying a word. That'd be pretty funny though, I'd love to laugh at him if that were the case."

"... So uh, yeah. To summarize what Purson said, there's some suspicious stuff going on between the three of them and—Iruma, why do you look so interested?" Lied has to squint once he notices the blinding sparkles emitting from Iruma. Iruma gasps and then flushes in apparent embarrassment, rubbing at the back of his head.

"A—Ah... I'm a bit of a romance fan, so I got a bit sucked into Purson-kun's story, haha..."

"No, that was more of a info dump than story..." Says Jazz, face pale. Actually, a lot of people's faces are pale. The flood of new information from Purson must've taken a heavier toll on everyone than expected... But when you consider the contents of it, Lied doesn't blame them.

"... I do not think I can bear to stomach any more of this, so please excuse me, Iruma-sama." Azz-Azz apologizes to Iruma and Iruma only as he moves to a stand with a hand over his mouth, as if he were about to puke at any moment.

"Oh—okay? Get well soon, Azz-kun..."

"Thank you, Iruma-sama..." Azz-Azz gives a weak bow and takes his leave with a stumble in his step. As the door clicks shut, Lied realizes something.

"Oh wait, where's Kamui? I invited him to this too."

"He left within the first announcement. I'm starting to wish I did the same too..." Jazz answers.

"I think this is lovely news. Romance amongst teachers, powerful enough to melt the coldest of hearts! Not even Kalego-sensei can resist the power of love!"

Lied gags, "Nee-san... Sorry, but that's a little bit... well, sickening, to imagine Kalego-sensei in love with anything but maybe spiting people."

I am so utterly exhausted I don't even have the energy to explode and gush over this as much as I would like but it's genuinely so good I ought to try my best anyway
I love this piece of writing so much, I love the comedy, it's genuinely hilarious and I find the characterization of the whole class spot on, each comment they add feels very in-character while also adding something of value to their conversation, making the misfits's dynamic as funny and entertaining to observe just as it is in canon. I especially like lied's characterization in this since when I was reading some fics earlier I found him to be a character that was often written ooc. I love how repulsed they are by the idea of kalego being lovey dovey, all the emotions are expressed really well in the scene and lied's dismay, especially, is very much conveyed. I especially like the dialogue and the way the characters interact between one another. also thanks for the inclusion of an allocer line my boy is so severely overlooked I become overjoyed just to see him being remembered.
even though I can tell it's just a quickly written draft, your writing manages to be so captivating and entertaining, I'd be very happy if you ever got to finish it
