The whole concept of 'found family' is really sad at its core. I'm rather glad that Iruma and his closest friends have actual nice family members instead of being forced to rely on it. Amaryllis is nice, Clara's family is nice, and Sullivan/Opera are nice. The only member of the Misfits with a jerk family is Jazz. While it's nice that he seems to have developed a 'found family' with the Misfits, the series makes it clear how sad the root cause of his big bro complex is.

Even through someone else's drug addiction, or even just the passage of time... It doesn't easily cut off or drift apart.
