#VTS on iPhone disconnects from VTS on Windows PC after ~40 min over WiFi

I just changed my PC from a wired to a wireless connection (for complicated reasons). PC and iPhone are both connected to the same WiFi network.

VTS on iPhone connects to my PC no problem, lag is 1-17ms.

Usually at the 40 minute mark, the phone will go from 'connected' to 'connecting' and basically disconnect from the computer. VTS on PC still has the server up. Both server and client connections need to be restarted manually.

This is a nightmare for streams because it's easy to not realise tracking has been lost.

Things I've triied:
-Opened ports in my firewall rules on Windows
-Opened ports in my router
-Made specific rules on my network for VTS executable
-Restarted computer and apps.

If there's anything I've overlooked that I could try, please let me know. Thank you.

sounds like your routers refreshes after X time of things connected to each other

#

the only solution is to go back to wired

Remember there is something called powerline (it costs way more than ethernet but is easier than making holes) that you can use your electric power as ethernet cables!
