My Webcam is not being detected by vtube studio

I launched Vtube studio and noticed that the camera light wasn't even on for some reason. I uninstalled and reinstalled the application after checking my camera in other places to make sure it worked. Still wasn't being detected. Please help me resolve this issue

it won't turn on by itself, you have to turn the camera on manually at first in the camera settings.

I've used vtube studio for many months and after selecting my camera it automatically turns on whenever I open vtdube studio. That is always how it has worked ever since I got it.

Hey, no clue if you fixed it yet but I had the same issue and I finaly found what was the issue. It was Avast. I do not know if you have avast on your pc but if you do it might be the issue. I did try to turn it off 10 min and launch Vtube Studio but it did not work. I had to add Vtube Studio as an exception in Avast and reboot my pc, you might want to try that.
