#Set Specific Expression as Default

I'm using a customizable model, so have a specific expression of the model set to where I'd like it. I've got it toggled on and have VTS remembering scene and expressions. I'd like to have toggles set to channel points for users to redeem. But I've found that if they're not on a timer, it doesn't go back to my model expression when another toggle is triggered. Is there a way to set the customized expression as default so that I can have my bot "remove expressions" without it going to the default, uncustomized state, should users wish to toggle changes without it being on a timer?

For instance: Customized Model (new default) > Cat Ear (Toggle by user A) > Removes expressions/item scenes + Bunny Ears (toggle by user B) > remove expressions + Customized Model (toggle by user c)

Hope that makes sense

Any ideas regarding this?

@cedar parrot (sorry for the tag, but would really love an answer ...)

What bot are you using? I'm not sure I understand completely. Is the issue that you are trying to only have 1 expression active at the same time and allow viewers to switch between them using redeems? But that should work on top of the expression used to set parameters for the customizable model?

Please @ me when you reply.

I use streamer.bot
Ideally I'd like to switch between expressions, but it seems on this model it needs to trigger the other toggle off before the next one can display, depending on what layer order (I believe) things are

For example, I toggled in the cat ears, then the bunny ears, then another toggle. But it wouldn't return to the set model unless all of those expressions were toggled off. (They're all expressions built into the model, not item scenes)

And so the best way I figured would be for the bot to "Remove expressions" first, then add the toggle. So that when it's on one and changes to the other, it deactivates the last
Idk if that's making any sense, sorry

Did you try adding the extra expressions with the value at 0 when one is active?

I believe soo

#

at least do in two of them and test to see if one cancel the other

#

also the default should disable the others

I haven't been able to get to my computer just yet, but I'm trying to make sure I'm understanding this correctly:

For each expression, I should "activate" all other expressions but have them set to "off"?
Ex: Happy with sad, angry, confused, etc OFF

For the default expressions you want to not overlap with the redeems.
So in streamer.bot I'd set (bunny ear trigger will: toggle bunny ear, wait x minutes, toggle default custom ear)

Awesome! I'll give it a try as soon as I can get to my computer! Thank you for all your help!

Because as it currently is, if I were to do just that, it would keep the bunny ears and toggle off the cat ears

(for that last redeem of cat ears)
