#Received a new model but have no clue how to adapt the mouth tracking

So I received a new model a while back and have tried to fiddle around with VTuberStudio to get my mouth and eye tracking to work better.

The issue is that I have glasses and it probably doesn't track good cause of it. Furthermore, the mouth... is what mostly bothers me since I have to make extreme expressions to make my mouth open up properly.

Is this even an issue with VTuberStudio or more with VBridger?

What have you done so far for mouth/eye tracking? I also have glasses, but it's not too much of a problem as long as I have good lighting & my webcam can track my face (not too high/low to pick you up)

There are some online video guides for better eye/mouth tracking with changing the parameters. Is that sort of what you're looking for?

Do you have the original files before the parameters were changed? Maybe something went wrong somewhere, just to see if it resets? Have you tested it with games at the same time? I find sometimes with chunkier/larger games it can slow down models. Can you try it with a less demanding game just to see if there's any noticeable difference?

I do yes and I managed to figure it out.
Its nothing to do with VTubeStudio or VBridger.

The problem comes from the root which is the IPhone and the app being used which is IFacialMocap.

It has two things that needs to be changed.

  1. You can't have "Optimize for long-time streaming" turned on or it wont work properly.
  2. You have to adjust the blendshape for mouth opening from 1.0 to 1.5 or even 2.0

After doing so, the issue gets fixed and the model works flawlessly.
