#Choppy hair when swift movement

So my model has had this issue where the hair kinda "snaps" back into place instead of falling naturally, however my model artist & rigger do not have this happen to them when testing the model.

I have attempted adjusting hair physics strength and it still happens unless I reduce it to zero. Does anyone have any suggestions of things it could be on my end that are causing this to happen?

I'm using vtube studio/vbridger/iOS

looks like the pendulum going over 100 output

bingnod but if its not happening for the rigger, it makes me wonder if its the fps setting

I've tried all 4 FPS settings and it happens on all 4

Did you change the model's physics strength?

yes as stated it only stops if i change it to 0

which at that point yk

Did the rigger send you a video of them testing the model in vts? Cuz it very much looks like physics are hitting the max and thats a rig issue.

they didn't, I've reached out to them about it 2-3 weeks ago but haven't gotten a response and I need it fixed for something for next week so I was hoping it was something on my end at this point 🥲 guess I'll have to wait for them and hope they get back to me before then
thanks for the help & suggestions!

If they do not respond at a reasonable time it is possible to modify the physics settings directly

it'd need a rigger to to essentially mimic your model params and settings, but it's doable

main problem being that, y'kno, would rather not modify someone else's work without permission
