I have my computer connected to ethernet and wifi (5gz), The same one my phone is connected in, I enter the ip adress (from the show IP list, which is the same as the one I saw when I did my IPconfig, But they still won't connect, Not sure what to do.

#

It's just stuck on scanning

#

Will be back in 40 minutes, Please hopefully someone can guide me on how to sort this out, Kind of regret buying the license because I assumed it was going to be an easy set up like it was on my Iphone previously.

If anyone could please help me out, I'd hate for this to be the thing that ends my streaming

I've done all those things aside from network scanner, I'll give that a look

#

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, fire walls all allow, changed my internet to private like it said

#

Just won't connect.

#

have you tried it when you have turned off the firewalls? not just allow?

junior turtle
#

I turned them off too

#

this is where I am having issues, I scan and scan and nothing ever shows up.

#

I even added a public IPv6 server and I still can't connect

This is so frustrating, I've done every troubleshooting method I can think of.

restart phone and computer?

If you click on "Show IP List" in VTS on your phone, do you see an IP that is inside of your home network?

I had a case where VTS would get the mobile data IPv4 of my phone but never the WiFi IP and in that case you can't connect to devices on your LAN either.

#

(also reported that as a bug on github but it probably got lost there)

junior turtle
#

I can't see the show IP list in VTS studio on the phone

#

@carmine crow restarted both, I can see the IP on the vtube studio, Not sure how I can see the ip list on my phone tho

I've tried disconnecting, on wifi rn, all it did was remove an ip address from the show list

#

And yes both on the same wifi network

#

I decided to say fuck it, buy droidcam for 8 dollars, connect that via usb to my computer and then use droidcam as a webcam.

#

Clunky and cost me 10 dollars but it works.

#

Don't understand why they can't just give the usb option like the Iphones do.

carmine crow
#

probably a limitation with android

junior turtle
#

oh well, sorted it all out, Thanks for trying anyway, What a fucking headache tbh but probs was an issue on my end, though, it does suck even IF i did get it working with wifi, the face tracking wouldn't be as good as direct USB.

give it 24 hrs or so and someone else might have the solution, I don't typically touch these kinds of threads bc I don't have any experience with these issues but hopefully theres enough info here for those that do to help or suggest a fix

junior turtle
#

yeah, I'll check tomorrow after work

In case this comes up again - the Show IP list button on iOS/Android is at the bottom of the settings page in the "3rd Party PC Clients" tab

junior turtle
#

Tried to connect using that IP and no use either

#

Not sure why this scanning feature isn't working either, I've done all the things (if your now just reading this and new to the threat, check the earlier messages, I've done absolutely everything I can think of)

#

To the thread*

Hmm.

#

There's gotta be something blocking the connection.

#

@junior turtle You could try checking your router settings.

#

Sometimes they have Wifi privacy protection settings that prevent devices from seeing each other.

i have it all open @vital vapor
