#Left eye not blinking, regardless of settings or adjustments

Hi there! I recently handed over a model to a client, and we have been going through the setup of the model and the adjustment of settings to fit their face movements best.

We've run into the issue of vtube studio not picking up any movement from their left eye, regardless of changing settings such as the input settings or blink sensitivity. Is this likely to be a vtube studio issue, or a webcam issue?
A few extra notes:

  • My client is using a webcam
  • The same issue happens with the models provided by vtube studio
  • The problem does not occur on my end, with a webcam or iphone tracking (I adjusted to the same settings as them to check also, and did not have a similar problem)
  • Their tracking level is at 5
  • The values in the video are different to the right eye, the right eye (which is moving as normal) is set to 0.2, and -0.05. We tried those settings on the left eye, which also didn't work D:

If there's any other questions I need to answer, let me know!

Look at the input value and the ones set for the in min/max

#

the input value is always higher then the max so it will always stay open

#

you need to re adjust the min/max

#

Best way is keep eyes open and look at the value and set that to max. then close eyes and take a screenshot and then set that value as the min

we did that for the right eye and everything worked as it should! However, when transferring those same min/max options to the left eye, it did nothing. we then tried adjusting based on the left eye's min/max and it just didnt change - the eye stays open. I've tried on my end with the same settings and had no problem with the eye staying open, which lead me to believe this may be due to the webcam and not vtube studio itself?

Maybe try different webcam settings and/or different tracking levels

#

other then that I am not sure at the moment, hopefully someone else can come along with other ideas.
