#HeadXYZ issues

Heya! Could you record a video showing the comparission side by side to get a better idea?
They are different programs and some stuff that works in live2d wont work if not exported correctly, a comparission would help on guiding you.
Is this the first model you rigged?
Hello yes this is my first time rigging a model
I'll send the screen recordings now
this is on cubism, the head angles move fine with cursor tracking
and this is with Vtube studio tracking
I actually don't know what parameters are already in Vtuber studio but for me Mouth X and Toung are not there
I've been looking for a solution for hours almost ready to give up now π« π« π«
you might just need to add them by hand given they are not exactly standard parameters for all tracking options
i was just makign sure it werent the head ones
So for the head, given what you showed me its probably one of two things (or well, could be both even)
The head ones are Face Left/Right rotation right?
its either you have some elements of the head hierarchy as hidden in live2d, which will work fine in live2d but wont workt at all inn vtubestudio after you export it for it
or you re added the face angle params yourself and messed up the id name
are you using the default params that live2d creates for you when creating a new program or did you deleted them by mistake and had to re add em?
its a common mistake to make in a first model ime
I deleted them by mistake....
And then I saw a YouTube video of how to add them back
okay, so go to teh params in live2d
right click
and edit param
and send me a screenshot of the little window that popups
yep
id is the problem there
ParamAngleX
ParamAngleY
ParamAngleZ
those should be the face id
name you can name it whatever, but vts will look for those ids
Ooooooo
OMG YOU SAVED ME-
I will try changing the parameter names and see if it works
It says the ID is invalid what should I do?
you probably have the real parameters somewhere else
you may have re named em to another thing or something
you may need to check all params ids to be sure none of them overlap
if you want, send me the file on dms and i can give it a look myself in a few mins
i dont mind
I'll try searching for them and if I still can't find it please take a look ππππ
yeah, dont worry! hang in there π
I got it!! It's working now!
BUTTTTTT
I ran into another problem π§π§π§
do tell~
(sorry if the quality is bad my obs suddenly stopped working)
Why is it facing the side even tho I'm facing forward?
Did I messed up something?
NVM I SOLVED IT
I JUST HAD TO CALIBRATE THE TRACKER AGAIN
Thank you so much for your help Eruben San you really saved me πππ
One more thing I wanted to know was how to tweek the Vtuber studio settings for better tracking?
Especially the mouth movement even when I open my mouth sometimes the model doesn't open it's mouth
you need to tinker with the parameters there. In each parameter the IN are the ones that the tracking is detecting on your face. You can lower the max in the ins so less movement in your face = more movement in the model
also, in the second tab in vts you can tinker with mouth open sensitivity and other sliders too that help quite a bit
and im glad to know everything is working now
ah, for mouth also you can use the mixed params with microphone as input, you need to replace em by hand, which are voicevolumeplusmouthopen and voicefrequencyplusmouthsmile. Though you need to set up your microphone in the first tab first and tinker with that too
its all about tinkering and testing
